Gandhi Old Age Home is a voluntary organisation under the Gandhi Education Society. It is registered with the Physically Handicapped & Senior Citizens Welfare Department, Government of Karnataka. It was established in 2001-2002 by Shri Ugraiah C., Founder Secretary of the organisation. Gandhi Old Age Home is a donor funded organisation and is totally dependent on monetary and in-kind contributions of donors as well as goodwill services provided by volunteers. 

Gandhi Old Age Home takes care of both abandoned and formally admitted senior citizens who are above 60 years old, bedridden, physically handicapped, visually impaired, mentally challenged, or deaf and dumb.
